How long will my nails last?
The longevity is influenced by the preparation of your natural nails, the choice of adhesive, and your daily activities. To enhance wear time, properly prep your nails with the provided supplies and minimize exposure to water and manual labor.
Double-sided gel tabs have a duration of 1-3 days, making them ideal for temporary wear and special occasions.
When using glue, your nails can last up to 2 weeks or even longer. It's crucial not to wear lifting nails to prevent bacterial growth. Remove any lifting nails, clean, dry, and then reapply.
How To Apply Press on Nails?
***Prepare your natural nails before applying press-on nails by ensuring they are clean and free of nail polish. Utilize the provided alcohol wipe or acetone to eliminate oil residue, promoting longer-lasting results.
1. Accurately select sizes by aligning the press-on nail with the sides of your natural nail. If the nail is too small, some of your natural nail may be visible, but opting for a slightly smaller size is acceptable as long as it remains comfortable. Conversely, if the nail is too large, it may extend past the sides of your natural nail bed; in such cases, reshape the sides if necessary, although this is rarely needed.
2. Clip or file your nails to the shortest possible length to prevent them from protruding beneath the press-on nails. Additionally, file the surface of your nails to enhance the grip between the press-on and the glue.
3. Apply a drop of glue to both your natural nail and the press-on nail. Allow the glue to tack up for 5 seconds, then align the press-on nail slightly below your cuticle. Using your thumb, firmly press down on the nail, applying ample pressure across the entire surface. Hold for at least 25 seconds, as longer duration ensures a better bond. Your application is complete!
How To Remove My Nails?
While the press-on nails are resistant to coming off in water, we highly recommend soaking them in the hottest water you can comfortably endure for a few minutes before removal. This process softens both the press-on nail and your natural nail, facilitating easier and safer removal. Gently lift each side of the press-on nail alternately, and the nail will effortlessly "pop-off" with light pressure when it's ready.
If necessary, you can use a spare press-on nail to help detach any areas that are still bonded. Removal is a simple, fast, and painless process, and you can take off the nails at any time. Store them away for later reapplication. It's important never to force removal, as this could result in minor and fixable damage.
